price varies with quality it would seem(y)
quality of the vendor that is :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Hahaha........funny enough I ve not used them at all this season, always done better in Exeter selling live, by some margin the last couple of weeks especially.

But when people like Darts Farm buy most of mine its not surprising! They have a wealthy clientele.

Long may the DINK'ies and Grey Pound buyers continue to frequent their hallowed halls!

yea that's right sonshine, they pay more for proper unassured lambs that they get from proper unassured farmers like us (y):ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Nothing would surprise me at the moment.

Take cull, cows ( and I know your no fan of selling at sedge ) but the highest price cull cows two weeks ago was non assured!

Exeter most weeks, non assured well bred and fhinshed lambs quite often make the highest prices!

Exeter has had a much better trade this year ( compared like for like at other SW markets the same day ) than previous years for well bred/ covered/ very fat lambs.

Not sure that is correct about 3 moves! I have had plenty of cattle that have been moved between 5/6 farms if you take into account farmers/ marketing co-ops moving them between holdings they own but less than 4 residences ( as that is 4 different owners ) and not been cut for them!
That's what it states on the payment grid.

Today's prices for me in Exeter.

£65:50 was for some full Lleyn ewes.

Trade seemed very variable across the lots I saw sold. Some lean lambs would have been better sold last Friday as stores.

You're maybe too young to remember there was a Teesside meat based in Marton years ago run by David Hunwick. They went bust so not a good choice. I don't think he'll be back, not for himself anyway and that's a real shame both for us and for him
An absolute travesty, I'll genuinely miss him at the mart....big lambs and ewes will be hard to place without him about
