Will be intresting to see what Honiton collection centre prices are for Monday when they come on the txt.

At £4.10 for deadweight I reckon Honiton will be well ahead.

SM averaged £1.99 a kilo yesterday, even Hallworthy averaged £1.93 kilo as well, SM up 12pk Hallworthy up nearly 8pk on the week and trade further North has jumped even more.

They didn’t drop this week, when the others apparently did, so playing catch up (and some) maybe?
Live markets are all creeping up again, after a bit of a dip, so no reason for a drop.

Seem a massive drop to me surely if that far out you won't get any lambs.

I suspect you’re right, as the posts above would indicate. They’ll have to come back into line next week, or close for a week or two.

To be fair, it must be quite difficult pitching a price for next week’s lambs, without knowing what the opposition are doing until you get there.

Works out roughly 375p/kg for lambs and 280p/kg for clean cattle

Purely because I’m Too lazy to look it up, what’s the exchange rate currently, to allow us to compare £’s to NZ$ and see how much better our antipodean friends are doing?

Approx £2.55 for bull beef, £2.80 clean, £2.10 for cows and £3.80 for lambs depending on £.
