Lamb prices were always set to rise this Spring, as long as we avoided 'No Deal', which thankfully we did. They just aren't about, and the buyers know it.
I was there a good run of lambs...but its one hell of an Average....
Does Tony buy them?Exeter averaged £98.60 for store lambs yesterday and that included some poor lambs with 2 at only £5 head!
Does Tony buy them?
Christ you go on holiday [emoji15] [emoji23]I’m just wondering now that being in the EU was keeping lamb and possibly other meat prices artificially low.
The total opposite of what we have been told.
Every time I’ve been on holiday I look at meat prices in shops and it’s always dearer than here even though most other things are cheaper

a few years ago I was swale mule through and through! The last few years I’ve been trying differing types and settled with the blackie mule and Cheviot mule. Easy fleshing lambs, nice conformation, easy to achieve handy weights.Which is best then ....or will any do?!
Were they dear?It is the average for the store cattle at Sedge today is what i want to know is.................

Nowt to do with the price liftOpen your eyes man. This price lift has nothing to do with Brexit, other than Sterling crashing helping export competitiveness.
You’re surely not that daft?
