It would be no problem for the Bill to ticket every livestock trailer / wagon going loaded into a market . Nor would it be a problem for the magistrates to issue whacking great fines to them - "pour encourager les autres " so to speak . The rest would surely fall into line at the prospect . As "andybk " says it was the DVLA and licensing authorities that put a very quick stop to the fuel protests . Loss of your "good character" leading to loss of job or business .

Kepak cant be that short for hoggs. I usually get a call off them in december asking how many im willing to supply them until April/may. No calls this time round. Luckily its a sellers market now, and theres plenty of other competitors, looking for lambs.

How much difference does a bloody kilo make on a lamb chop size...they ain’t big enough for me as it is...need to be 32 kilos

I doubt you, or most on here, are the average supermarket lamb buyer though. ;)

It never ceases to amaze me what any of our townie friends seem to think is a meal. I must eat 3x the amount very often, and seem to manage without visiting the gym.

I'm only 36 stone too. :censored: 🤣
