Thought it was just me that carted hates about all over
Hope you carry them on the front of the loadall as well!

Usually on the loader but today I've been carrying them in and out of the stockbox ....I'm knackered !!

Keep looking at those mobile things but still need gates to go with it

Saturday sales like sedge will see a lot of weekend farmers looking for a few lambs to graze paddocks, push the trade up well, get a storm and they will be putting them back in worse then they bought them.

Sure your right on that one...buy same lambs a tenner less late Dec

I always think if you have some feed be better buying after new year, suppose it depends if you can get the quality then ?

I agree this year. There will be plenty of good stores in the new year when people are off loading them to get on with spring cultivation and grass growing. Just my uneducated opinion though

It’s ok waiting till the turn of the year but every now and again they are un buyable
I have a feeling they are going to be dearer than this year early on

Hard to predict, I think fat has held up well which points to lower numbers about IMO. We are definitely well down.

Locals get a bit upset when I'm carting these feed bins on the loader

..but I ain't leaving them in the field for the pikeys to pinch

You’re right there. Takes a lot of practise to find that line where they’ll feed vs they’ll die

i think i'll stick to cattle muly , do what you know!

No, bit north of you in Durham but somebody had been trying to get some silage and was in by the axles, used to that around here but don’t often see it in the north east.

Got a decent mobile set ....but i still gather the cattle up , they will stay as one bunch now till spring.
