Depends what they buy up before hand. Bad to judge nowRamadan ends 10 April, will this affect the lamb trade increasing demand as in just before this date or would the trade be stronger the week following

A certain noisy buyer told me ‘you haven’t seen nothing yet’ about the hogg prices and sheep prices in general on Thursday night
£10 was mentioned

Qurbani - 16 June.
Good chance to clear out ram hog's not good enough for breeding ,after a few months of good grazing ,it's early this year often in JulyHaving said that when I attending the meeting the AHDB put on about the Muslim market, Qurbani specs ruled out NSL as they weren't mature enough.
But they like them untouched,.so as said, young tups in demand.
There where some 86kg tup Hoggs in Cirencester this week.Good chance to clear out ram hog's not good enough for breeding ,after a few months of good grazing ,it's early this year often in July
Working on weekly averages, that would mean on track for 230,000+ less going to be traded this year.....

Last year there was a lot of lambs getting bought out ring fat and shorn round about us , they were obviously holding them . Not seen it this year , think they have maybe been to dear for that job or there’s not been enough about . Either way it’s a good thing .Depends what they buy up before hand. Bad to judge now
Last year, I made £20/head more of my blackie hoggs a fortnight after Quirbani than the week beforeI took a fair few one year and the trade was bad they had overdone it
