Ahhh but half the fun, is going to look and dicker JP. As you know full well.
Suffolk would be a weekend run....When I ran the Pedigree and Commercial Dexters, a purchase of a cow or two or collecting a Bull was a reason for a good day out... My daughter was around 8-9 when she first started coming on buying trips, my expert on the aesetics of an animal... aka "is it pretty"! 30 now and still has that "eye"
She started coming to abattoir on a Sunday afternoon even earlier, but the treat was to take a couple of cattle in at 7am midweek, and have a brekkie in ASDA on the way back... So she was corrupted at an early age, and still the only one of my 3 kids interested in farming (stock).
