Anyone going up to the beltex sale at Carlisle this week?
You must have been buying your tups from the wrong home @MJT !
Possibly ! , I'm putting my faith in these couple of home bred lads this season and see how I get on, know they won't disintegrate during tupping at least . Peeler ram lamb was born with full fleece before anyone comments .

Nice lambs, like the peeler fella especially. Often tempted to try a Beltex on commercial ewe lambs, but wouldn't fancy lambing pedigrees ones...
Accurate as above I'd say. Same as every year - good sheep = good trade. An odd bargain to be had in the tup lambs but gimmers were well sold. We averaged £500 for our 7 which would be fair price. We have same problem as every year though - not enough feed into them!
