Benchmarking figures

I'm hunting for some up to date benchmarking figures for lowland suckler production. AHDB doesn't seem to have anything after 2016.

Can anyone provide a link to some reliable data please, either AHDB or elsewhere. Thanks

While the figures might not be a million miles out, and probably no worse than the likes of John Nix, they came about from an online costing portal in Wales. Welsh farmers were paid £1000 to participate (well, the first 2000 could qualify but only 1600 iirc took it up for some reason). It took me about 3 hours to collate & input the information, which I considered a good hourly rate!
I do know of some that just entered ‘suitably adjusted’ data from other published data sets though, just to get the money, hence my advice to take the figures with a pinch of salt.

Quality Meat Scotland will have some benchmarking figures. I have a booklet with 2017 (?) figures in but there will be something more up to date on their website.
