Twisted the leg on my trusty kverneland conventional. Anyone had success getting one straightened or know a good source of broken ( but straight ) bits? Round beam about 30 years old
I’d be confident of getting that back straight and strong. Should probably try asking an engineer rather than a farming expert On tff

I believe that there are at least two differing lengths of leg. My match plough had the longer ones, which were not quite right, but I managed to find a pair of the shorter, which seem ok. I dont think there is that much chance of that ever going back, the metal is very high carbon, and doesnt like heat, is prone to cracking if pressed after distorting, and only welds well with stainless or dissimilar rods, normal rods leave a bead which drops off on cooling, and has the appearance of cast iron in the fracture.
