Any suggestions for the above? Are they easy to use and more importantly, free of charge? I'd like to use one to generate a background for something I am working on.
I've used:

If you have a (new-ish) Apple iMac or MacBook you can generate images yourself, and for free!

Look up DiffusionBee

There are some good tutorials on YouTube to help with installing it.

I’ve been in the same boat recently, looking for a free and easy-to-use tool to generate backgrounds. I found an AI image generator that really impressed me. It was straightforward to use and perfect for creating the exact backdrop I needed for a project. The results were surprisingly good, and it didn’t cost a thing! I used it to design a custom background for a presentation, and it turned out fantastic. If you’re looking for something similar, this tool could be a great option to try.
