I will be baling hay for the first time with the 945. I always rowed up for the old 370 with the haybob. Will I stick with the haybob and then travel a bit faster or should I get a rake in?
TIA

Thanks. I expected that to be the answer. I know haybobs are not popular on here but I quite like the bouts as they do more drying as the day goes on compared to raked ones, which is always a help up here. If it's not going to make as good bales I will arrange a rake. I could always do a bit of each and see
I always managed with a flat 8 on the 370. Will the 945 be too wide?If you are using any form of sledge behind it, ya rows wont be wide enough to fit down using a haybob
I found the 945 a bit awkward sometimes with narrow rows and flat 8 packs. It was improved by fitting a hydraulic ram on the drawbar and using a hay Bob with side delivery.I always managed with a flat 8 on the 370. Will the 945 be too wide?
