best coolant flush

need to flush out my mf 6465, when i did waterpump it looked grim so i drained it and refilled with proper stuff, it dint take long for this to look grim just picked up sh!t out of system some lemon in post obviously not had correct mix in it,


so wanna give it a really good plush out so next time i refill with new coolant and deionised water it stays clean,

any suggestions?

I spent 22 quid (4 bottles) on holts speedflush today to do my 4755, waste of money abit of brown crap came out. But after running it for another hour the waters back to brown again, going to do it another day with dishwasher soap, like my mate said in the first place !.

three or four flushes will usually make a difference. Ideal if an oil cooler has gone and put oil in the coolant

I don't want to be alarmist and say you shouldn't do it but I would be careful running it up to temp with dishwasher powder in. Any damage caused will cost a lot to rectify. I have run a machine without anti freeze for say 50 hours or so but changed the water 8 to 10 times in that period. Once the water comes out clean do it twice more and then put proper coolant in making sure the cab water tap and heater valve are open while you are doing it all , just a thought.

For oil in cooling systems use forte biogreaser. Will clean all traces of oil out first time.

You could use Citric Acid granules.
