Best Lime source

Just looking for a good quality magnesium lime source in Wales or not too far across the border, last lot we had had chippins in it and our seed specialist wasn’t very positive when he saw this and said this wont work for 10 years!! We have re-sampled the field but not had the results back yet. TIA

I get my mag lime from Breedon on the Hill or Cloud Hill in south Derbyshire. I think the haul would be dear to Wales.

There is also a fair lot to choose from in South Yorkshire but, again, haulage.

I’ve an idea Nash Rocks is a mag lime, Herefordshire/Wales border, but I’m not sure it’s even open any more.

Thanks, as far as I know they don’t do mag in Nash Rock Kington. We used to get it from Oswestry but they’ve also ceased!

Llynclys had screened mag available last year but apparently only have 3mm washed whatever that is. Anybody have an analysis of taffs well Lime?
