Hi, been using Evernote but they've started charging and my stuff isn't worth £80 a year.
Google Keepnote seems numb.

Wanting to keep calving records, machinery records and fert records etc to share between various phones and pc.

Thanks.

Not sure whether parties or the originator can amend or add to notes in WhatsApp. If that is required, then Apple Notes or Google Keep or Microsoft OneNote could be installed on any mix of devices and will synchronise between them.
I too used to subscribe to Evernote and found it to be excellent when I had a large volume of work for it, but a change of career meant that it was no longer justified or needed so I now tend to use Apple Notes mostly but occasionally for special purposes and sharing with others on a one-off basis, OneNote which comes with my Office 365 subscription.

OneNote- you can install the android version on android and the apple version on apple. All saved to the cloud and can be accessed by computer/laptop at home.

You can even save pictures etc to OneNote , might even be possible for OneNote to record the text in photos so it makes keep documents in paper form merely a job for the shredder. All stored securely on OneDrive so if your office burnt to a crisp tomorrow you wouldn't lose anything.

I've lost a load of stuff when swapped phone and whattsapp hadn't backed up. :(
Not on Apple anything
Don't subscribe to office 365
I agree. 365 is only justified if the whole Office suite is required with sync between multiple devices and access anywhere. OneNote is the way to go for a dedicated note app even if on an Apple device, even though I use Apple Notes far more.

you could have a play around with standard notes, it's quite good.
Fully encrypted and private, only you'll be able to see what's stored there.
Free version doesn't store photos tho, so keep that in mind.
