Need to get sorted with a helmet for when riding the quad. What do people recommend? Ebay has lots of full facial helmets but I am after an open face one.

I went on a training session last week with my own motocross helmet and was offered to try a logic. After half an hour I almost forgot I was wearing it. Ended up buying one. Not as cool looking though!I've got one of these. It's light and comfortable enough that everyone actually wears it!
Mine's Dept of Trade approved, whatever that means. When I did a safety day a few years ago I think it was said that the only HSE approved quad helmet was the Logic helmet. Might have changed by now.
Any links for these pleaseI've got one of these. It's light and comfortable enough that everyone actually wears it!

VERY smart and looks practical too.Make sure that you helmet you choose has a decent rating.. many "cheap" helmets are only rated to 25kph, so would be of little use in a high speed dismount. Over here, one of the best are the Shark helmets being sold through Yamaha dealers, certified for road use, very light, cutaways for ears so you can have a conversation, decent peak/visor, vents on the top, removable liners for washing and an easy to use ratchet style, single-handed fastener strap
I’d forget a quad helmet. I’d buy a decent arai open face. Get some goggles... you only have one head.. would you ride a motorbike in a quad helmet

Logic helmet allows you to hear things much better than a motorbike one. What’s the difference between a Logic Quad helmet and a motorbike one?
