Best round baler

After looking at balers the McHale seems to be the most preferred choice due to it's simplicity, reliability, and robustness. However which model? I'm looking at a roller baler. The F540, F550, or F5500? I've been told they aren't built like they used to be. Is this true?

Always hear stories like that, there can be exceptions but rarely is it true. Generally the younger and more developed a model is the better it is.

Buy what you can and leave some back in the kitty for spares/repairs.

If you can find a 550 with 30-40 k bales at the right money you have a great machine for years , check out Clarke machinery , they always have a selection of them and they go through them from front to back .
