Does anyone know what the total membership is ---or do you just not want to make it public?
I'd like to know out of interest, not that I think it's remotely relevant to the success of it, it's the drive and full farmer input that is creating the success be it 25 or 25000 members. The pressure that unity has put on a far bigger system is incredible.

I don't see how a union that only charges a tenner a year is going to do much good to be honest.
Worth a try though.
Unless most farmers have already joined 25 in a week with all the publicity farming is having currently doesn't sound that great.
Don't think I'd have posted it on a public forum, the people you are going up against can read it. 🤷‍♂️

Ditch RT and join BFU............. and spend the saving at your local pub !

Win win
How many BFU members have ditched RT?

Of course it’s relevant. We see folk on here saying that the BFU should have representation on various bodies, and constantly saying how the NFU don’t represent any number of farmers any more.

The only way that BFU can stake any claim to places on those bodies, or to represent farmers, is to prove they have a large number of members.

Otherwise, by all means shout lots and stir things up, but don’t make claims of representing the industry as a whole, imho of course.

Still no one explaining why I couldn't find BFU stand or any leaflets at Yams. Hundreds maybe into thousands of potential members, an opportunity missed.

point is that it's growing....i believe the nfu originated in lincs......bet it didn't have many members to start with

also...at the start of minny's tenure you'dve needed hillsborough stadium to get all the members seated.....now they'd fit in portman road

this is a bit like that 'guess the number of sweets in the jar' at the village fete 😁

my guess...250:scratchhead:
