I never said I was daft enough to pay that but there's plenty of farmers who areYep but £300 wont cover the costs of buying/ feeding/ deductions etc.
They ought to make around the figures above on the current trade.
Proper feeding cattle are easily £300+ head up on trade pre xmas.
Trade now for store cattle/ stirks is the dearest for many years.
'they' are dealers, and obviouly get 'better' grades/no deductions unlike 'Joe farmer' doesMaybe but how the hell do they make them pay???????????
