Blackoats and Blackgrass Control

I've just read in the FW that a blackoat/vetch cover crop drilled in the Autumn and followed on with a spring crop is doing the job with blackgrass control.
Anyone tried this before or know where I could get the mix from?

I have a grower planting 10 has of a US mustard mix that is specifically designed for resistant black grass and ryegrass - biofumigation, to be followed by wheat late October. Anyone wanting to have a look at it had better PM me - crop in Cambridgeshire. I also have access to DSV products and you will find cover crop detail on my new website - beta testing but feel free to play around! (I will have to vet you first though!!)

we're bringing in some black oats from France in the next few days ...still time to piggyback onto the order if anyone wants to ....they can be used on their own or as part of a mix with vetch which we can also supply

Went to a agrovista trial last week and there was a plot that had been done in that way, looked really clean, 50% cleaner than the overwintred stubble. Drilled with a greatplains direct drill.

can you clarify which 'way' you are referring, tah!

plot drilled after oat and vetch was cleaner than the one drilled after over wintered stubble, both drilled same time with the same drill and same chems,

both were pretty clean compered to winter wheat plots
