Blue LED lights on sprayer booms

I had white LED lights before switching to blues after seeing a demo setup, it was like chalk and cheese back then but white may have caught up now, I don’t know. I found the blue much better in half light too, couldn’t see my white ones until really dark. Judging by how far they light up a hedge row away, I’d say mine would do a 40m boom!!

Just 2 on our new 28m horsch, white lights fitted just behind wheels and they cover the whole boom no problem, not sure what watt they are but they are bloody bright

Bit avant garde and not something essential, but with gps switching and weigh scales anyone fitted lights to a fert spinner?

Not something I’ve done a lot of but have spread in the dark and could extend the day.

I have a pair of white ones on my 24m boom and they don’t really show up the full boom. Any got a link to some of the blue ones?

How are they set up? They want to shine behind the spray not on the spray. That way the pattern is backlit and the light not being blocked out by the spray as it progresses along the boom.

They are set about a foot behind the centre section so well behind the pattern. It just doesn’t seem to reach the ends of the boom.

I had white, albeit the el cheapo £8 each off amazon, set on the boom, they sort of worked, were certainly better than nothing, but the blue is in a different league.

Only issue I've had was locals called the police one night thinking I was pikies Lamping.
They now know its me. :D

That looks great thank you. How do you find them when on pre emergence with some of these fluorescent orange sprays, just keep the lights clean like everything worse I suppose?!
Yeah just wipe the off when filling sprayer up, an auto wash/clean nozzle would be a neat thing to rig up
