I see they are priced from around £20 for a 2x 50w version. I have got a few spare speakers and an iphone, so thinking of trying one.
Any experience or advice?

Do what they say on the tin for a workshop, office, lambing shed etc. Youll need the highest voltage of psu the specs permit to get anything like the 50w though. I.e 48v

Yes, I've invested £40 for an 'alleged' 100w version, on a 20v psu. Quite astonishing sound really, considering it's a fraction of the size of a traditional AV amp. Be very interesting to see how long it lasts.....

For the full output it will need the max permitted input voltage.
