Bluetooth speaker recommendation

Hello all,

Hope this is in the right place.

We are in the process of kitting out our small holiday let. The agency think it's a good idea to have a bluetooth speaker. So, I need a recommendation for one that is very easy to connect to and operate, with decent sound quality and which won't break the bank.

I have a Samsung R2 speaker which is pretty decent but was a bit more than I want to spend (about £160 from memory). Any suggestions?

Saw a similar one in John Lewis. £150.

You need the Sonos app, so probably not ideal for a, holiday cottage. Plays through Amazon music. Probably better with something that connects through bluetooth.

My wife uses it all the time.

Ultimate Ears are very good. Middle lad has one and as good as his pal’s Bose speaker

Sonos - no question, i have a unhealthy amount of them in our house now

the new outdoor wireless one does s bluetooth as well as wi-fi

a lot of your guest may already have the app so will be able to connect instantly as if they are at home

That's the problem. I want to make it easy, just a simple Bluetooth connection.

Just a quick update: Bought ultimate ears speaker for the holiday let just before lockdown. It's sat in the box this past three months until the weekend as we scrambled around getting ready for our first guests. What fantastic sound quality and very easy to connect with. Thanks for the recommendation ?.

I have a Bose which is good but I bought my nephew an Ultimate Ears and that is The Daddy ?
