Bolt on ends or straight shaft, rollers, claas.

Been on the phone trying to get a roller for my baler, getn them over from the south of Ireland is more difficult now, so phoned claas there roller are all the same with bolt on ends. 900£+vat, Irish ones abit cheaper but not so straight forward getn it here, isn't the bolt on idea abit strange, weak.?
