You did a lot better than me. A few years ago I had a grinder went wrong and it took many phone calls and a lot of hassle to get it sorted. Put me off buying anything from them again.
It was all registered on line at point of purchase.... Serial numbers Proof of Purchase they already had.. I thought it would of been harder. Pleasantly suprised.

Athough.. I did buy a Dewalt Drill and 2 5amp batteries whilst it was away..

Right Mix here now.

I have Bosch 18v grinder and drill. Bought an impact wrench which when registered qualified for a free battery which would be useful for the other tools as well. Despite trying to register online it would not accept either serial no or product code even though they were on both box and invoice. Trying to get through to Bosch UK (which deals with RoI) is frustrating to say the least and when I finally got to speak to a human they had no interest in resolving the issue. After a few more attempts I gave up. Bosch won, they sold a unit and kept their battery! Only because I have some of thier stuff already I wouldn't be buying again or be very gone on their customer service.

Good for you but I'm just fed up of calling and emailing and the dismissive attitude. If its that big a deal they can keep it.
