Recent thoughts on which is most effective against fly?

I used Swish 8 week ago and wondering if i should reapply Swish pour on this weekend or switch to Spotinor?

I already have flectron fly tags in ears and using garlic tubs.

Any thoughts?

We’ve made the mistake of not applying early enough in the season before and it’s not pretty.
The key is to start earlier, before they begin breeding.
Much more effective than letting them start establish. Easier said than done though, I know!

If you used Butox Swish b4 , you'll have dropped the fly population a lot . I did mine for 2nd time about 10 days ago . Did same last year and found it useful product ....

Using Swish to try to limit fly annoyance on my cattle and to protect the females bags.

Found Swish great to reduce the total season fly population , but the crucial bit is to do the 1st application EARLY . I find it quite noticeable how few flies I see near the cattle .

Yay just bought 3 Redtop flycatchers. Can i hang them in fields? What bait do you use?

the bait comes with those red top fly traps. I’ve got one hung in my chicken pen (corner of a field)... been up 2 weeks now and starting to look like a fly cemetery in there now my rams are grazing next to the chickens and were bothered by the flies... not so bad now.
