That is indeed. It looks very straight for something that is close to 60 years old. I wonder if the cab has been added at some point. I have not seen one from that era that looks like that.

Is that really 60yrs old looks fairly modern with its structure design that must of been well ahead of its time.
Is it based on tractor underneath or various parts joined together.
Also bray... I would think a Nuffield Leyland base??
I would like to know more if any body can help

I think that may have been a late 50s. The early to mid 50s Bray was a little more crude in layout retaining more of a tractor look. The Brays were often painted in a two ton livery with blue and cream. Quite a lot of that era had GRP cabs.

Under some brambles we have two similar looking machines, I was led to believe that they were Bray 430's but when googled the pictures of a BL30 look the same. They were both 4wd with Fordson major engines and torque convertors.
One had long reach arms and was our grain loading machine for many years, the other was bought for spares but never used.
They look like the one in the link below, I think we have a cab somewhere as well.

I think the BL30 was the first produced and was 2wd. The BL430 was the 4wd version but I might be wrong. Quite a few Fordson conversions were fitted with a Brockhouse torque converter which, with age, became difficult to service and repair.
