Brexit is destroying Britain

I never begrudge any farmer any purchase he makes. They work like devils, in all weathers and at all times of year which invariably involves much personal sacrifice. If you want a Fendt, self propelled sprayer/forager, a set of Milwaukee tools or a new Discovery- go for it. Only here once.
“Do the people who ask loaded questions about Brexit every single day, actually feel they can get the remain sentiment overturned by posting their nonsense?

For their own sake, I would hope that they know this deep down: they will die now in the knowledge that the UK will never be allowed to rejoin the EU.
For the vast majority of people - who voted either way - it is now history and they have moved on.

But there are still some obdurate loonies on the loose, especially here on TFF. Obsessive individuals who will pore over any even slightly positive press article and swiftly attribute its root cause to Brexit no matter how tenuous the link. They simply cannot get over the temerity of vast numbers of people having disagreed with them because in essence, they consider themselves to be…..superior.

Trying to reason with those who have a superiority complex is like herding cats: if they were on fire, they'd prefer to burn than let you hose the flames out. This can be very entertaining when you quickly expose their unwavering sense of entitlement and lampoon their slavish devotion to a UK that stumbles from one crisis to another.

There is pathos however, and you would have a heart of stone not to feel a twinge of pity for them. It's obvious in many cases that these are a motley group of life's failures who in reality, have very little to feel superior about and Brexit is another of several crosses they bear in a life of frustration, chagrin and disappointment. Alan Partridge is sadly alive and well as a real person in many of these unhappy souls.”

well, I’ve never come across “obdurate “ before.

still learning 😊

If the parliament wanted her gone she would be gone. As for the public voting out a PM how many more will we get before that actually happens? 2? 3?
Why would the parliament want her gone?
She would not have got the job if she did not believe in the EU plan now would she.

Our public have to wait tops, 5 years to get rid of our gov/pm if they wish.
EU public NEVER get a chance to get rid of the top end if the EU.

Squirm round it all you want mate, but lack of proper democratic vote on stuff in the EU is why UK public voted to leave.
If your happy with a dictatorship, then fair play to you. Me and majority of The voting public here were not. So we voted to leave.

This is just not true, due to the UK’s voting system the majority of the British public do not get to vote out a government let alone a PM.
The party with the most votes will almost always form the government so you don't even need a majority of thf public to kick out the government.
Probably 40% will do

Yes they do.
They vote for someone who is not the party who in power.
If others in that constituency vote different, that's democracy.
Its how we have different partys in charge at times.
Ppl running the EU are not voted in by public and can not be removed by public.
