Brexit...there are far worse possibilities

And trumps extras came to more than the total of their official campaign budgets combined.

Eh ?

You do realise that Hilary spent about $1.6 Billion and was backed by Merchant Banks, Large Corporations, Hollywood. The Clinton Foundation received $10-100Millions of Morroco, Saudi Arabia amongst others.

His media access, his use of his own funding such as a years use of his private aircraft and staff that he donated to the campaign.

I had assumed this was common knowledge, it was spoken about a lot at the time of the election.

Both sides have volunteers .. the grass roots of the Democrats is far larger then the Republicans. Just look at who attends demonstrations.

Pretty similar to the UK .. Conservatives are reserved much like Republicans.

OMG!!!! I didn't realise that!!! :eek::eek::eek:
Tens and hundreds of millions, oh goodness me!!!!:eek::eek:

These campaigns run into billions of dollars. The official budget figures are like the tip of an iceberg.

Tens of millions wouldn't even make a start.

I think it's more a case of rent-a-mob on the streets, but it seems that most of the population support protest against the Macron government. There is much of Tony Blair in him...

He is actually more of a cross between Tony Blair and Margaret Thatcher. Likes to appear a nice guy but has a big stick behind his back.

Hmm... could be. I have a friend in Paris, although originally from Nantes, who supported Macron out of little other choice and who thinks him the most cold and potentially ruthless politician France has seen in a generation. But my chum is a dentist, and so has a fairly weird world view anyway...

Did you miss that?

Like my question from a few weeks back that you haven't answered yet. How convenient.

Why would anyone be replying to everything ?

I certainly don't. I don't look though posts with a fine tooth comb .. you're not my mate, not my relation and if you've posted something I'm uninterested in I'm not gonna reply.

I'm only interested in what you've posted to see if there is a source of news I've not read.

Most people won't reply to everything.

I was asking you about one of your own posts.
Point well made :)

You didn't reply in the post above asking out of interest what sources I had gotten numbers from, you posted to tell me a naive (doesn't touch the sides) figure in a condescending manner.
