Congratulstions. It’s always nice when a new company sets up. Important thing is this company is not leaving ROI. Just setting up another base in NI.
The net effect of those companies who will set up in UK to serve UK market, vis a vis those large companies in UK to serve the EU market who will pull out, will I dare say be but a drop in the ocean!

Don’t you worry sometimes about the Brexiteer disciples who apportion blame for all and sundry on the main stream media!!! This was on BBC news.

I check in on the Belfast Telegraph myself. Good reporting I must say.

Its only scaremongering. Like many others in project fear, they are saying they 'might' leave.

However, others are actually coming already (and the reason Ashtree is so worried).

The local papers are all carrying this story, but strangely the BBC are not......

You couldn't be more wrong. If anything Airbus is looking for reasons to transfer more production to China due to Chinese pressure on them to do more manufacturing their. And if one of your largest customers makes a request, you try and oblige.

I'm rather surprised they're not moving over to France, but again it is another example of why we've got to stick around in the EEA for abit to transition from a 40 year joined up relationship to an independent country.

airbus started producing parts in china 24 years ago,a tad earlier than brexit :D
it has steadily been increasing production there ,
the loss of jobs and transfer of cutting edge technology is a strategic loss to and an indictment of the eu ,
how anyone can say the eu is an economic success with a history such as this ,
is beyond me:scratchhead:
