I can't believe BNIB 360s and bulldozers are advertised at near 600 quid! But if you are going to buy 1 you've got to build it up and 'dis' play with it!

Couldn't find an original build loading shovel like @rc mx110 has :(

I have the boxes and such for mine but really cant see the point in not building them, sometimes get the remote control ones out for a play, the bulldozer has some shove about it.

Was that on brick owl , one there for ONLY € 219
Or you could go for the pristine unopened for €500+
Cheapest I found is € 180 at a toy shop here in Holland. Plus a second hand unopened one for € 160. Still a lot of money for someone that doesn't collect Lego OR construction equipment for that matter, lol. Would need to build myself an hydraulically folding OCE buckrake! Can always convince the wife I need one in case we might get children... Come to it, I wouldn't allow them to play with it. Bought a radio controlled Siku tractor and trailer once and that is gathering up a lot of dust.

Thats an idea right enough, will build either a folding fork or push off buckrake for the shovel, have a couple of spare transmitters/receivers so can make it work from the remote as well.

The crane is lovely as well but I'd still prefer the loading shovel. My neighbour has an online shop in Lego items. Will have to ask him for neighbouring discounts! :). Shame really it's an L350F in a way and not an L90G or something. That would be more appropriate for farm stuff. What sort of scale would this model be, 1/5?

It's been a few years since my construction days , what s the new technic lego like now compared to the 80's , looks good but is there as much fun constructing it as seems a lot more shaped parts etc

Here is a very thorough review of the new Volvo: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=96284 Seems there is still plenty of fun involved building it? On another note: This guy from my village build a pair of lorry's for potato transport that used to run around locally: http://www.miniaturenforum.nl/viewtopic.php?f=171&t=24753. The bulk trailers are functioning as well.

I like the technical side of it, getting some of the stuff to all work is pretty clever, the 360 has all 4 motors in the tail of the machine and transmits the drive down through the ring gear to the tracks.

A quick work out and I reckon it'll be about 1.16, the model is 580mm long
