New additions to the fleet! She didn't take it as bad as I thought! Maybe I'll get away with buying some more?

Not sure if this has been posted, apologies if it has.

County Down agricultural and construction trailer specialists, Kane Trailers, and Britains Farm Toys have linked up once again for their latest release.

Kane’s headquarters at Hillhead Road, outside Ballynahinch, was a buzz of activity as the much anticipated Kane Hydraulic Beaver Tail Lowloader 1:32 scale product was officially unveiled.

The Hydraulic Beaver Tail Lowloader marks the fourth collaboration between Kane Trailers and the famous farm toy brand, who are confident this latest offering will be creating endless opportunities for model fans to move heavy loads around their farms.

The exclusive preview event attracted considerable interest with customers joined by Kane staff and pupils from two local primary schools – Dromara and St Michael’s, Finnis.

Designed to be towed by 1:32 scale tractors, the Kane Hydraulic Beaver Tail Lowloader’s low aspect means it is ideal for tracked vehicles or telescopic handlers, and the raising and lowering tail gate design allows for easy unloading and loading. Perfect for moving Heston bales in the Summer months and Quadtracs during the planting season, the lowloader is the ultimate transporter for model fans.

Speaking at the launch, Drew Gibson, sales and marketing executive across TOMY’s farm ranges, said: “These are incredibly exciting times, not only are we partnering with Kane Trailers for the fourth time, we are introducing our first ever low loader to the collection. We are constantly looking for opportunities to enhance our range and build relationships with respected and recognised farm machinery brands.”

The Kane family have been delighted with the previous work with Britains and this latest model is no different. Richard Kane, marketing co-ordinator, Kane Trailers said: “We’re absolutely delighted to be strengthening our partnership with Britains, particularly as we are celebrating 45 years of manufacturing agricultural trailers this year. Britains’ attention to detail is second to none, they are true experts when it comes to producing scale models for the collector and toy markets, plus they’re such great fun to work with.”

The models have particularly struck a chord with Kane Trailer founder, Noel Kane, who added: “Looking back and remembering playing with a Britains Ford 5000, I never imagined that one day products we designed and made would appear on another child’s living room floor, it’s an honour.”

A highlight at the launch was the unveiling of a 1:32 scale diorama of the Kanes factory.

Modelmaker John McCall, from Clough, Co Down, was the man behind the project which drew great interest – especially from the staff at Kanes.

Richard added: “We would like to record our thanks and appreciation to John for all his hard work, the time and effort he has put into creating the diorama. We are honoured that he has chosen to produce such a piece on our factory.”

As official sponsor of the Moira Farm & Construction Model Show, which opened at Danescroft, Lisburn last night (Friday) and continues today (Saturday), Britains Farm Toys will also be exhibiting its full range of 1:32 scale models.

Kane Trailers will be presenting its to-scale factory diorama, to help visualise the various stages involved in the manufacture of its trailers.

The Kane Hydraulic Beaver Tail Low loader will be available from specialist toy shops and online, with a suggested retail price of £16.99.
