Its the one door on a 2 door cab that you only use , and with the loader tractor your getting in and out alot on the feeding duties ? there is no safe way to pin the door completly open, so im looking at having to get the remains of the bolt out of the hole in the door where the bolt goes and fixes the gas strut, before i make a mess of it, please any pointers other then say get a professional to do it ? what kit to buy , etc ?

Is there anything left to grip with decent mole grips?
A small bolt like that is sometimes possible to drill into the centre of it and knock an Allen key into the hole and just unwind.
Another trick is to place a nut the same size as the broken bolt over the sheared stud and using a mig welder weld the nut onto the stud and let it cool and just unwind with a spanner.(can be done with an arc welder but more fiddly)

Drill it dead centre with a new small drill to make a pilot hole, and then drill the same size as the bolt, just a little at a time till nearly through the head, and it will twist off very easily, but don't don't touch the glass with the drill,
The bolt will have a plastic thin sleave on it so gives you a little room to work

If welding a nut is too fiddly a washer also works well & the heat from the weld helps release locktight etc.

Its really hard to get them kinda jobs drilled dead central especially when the things broke it wont be a nice flat surface so the drill will want to move of the center
