Anybody got one and how are you getting on with it. I’ve been looking at them in pics etc seem to be getting a more popular brand but not seen one in the flesh but seem to be reasonably cost effective compared to the fully ally livestock bodies

I’ve got some prices now and vast variation. Got 3 quotes Stewart is the most Broughan 3 grand cheaper and JBM is a huge amount cheaper. Which would you choose

I’ve had a Broughan for about 4 years now and love it. I thought it was stronger built than some of its competitors. It sits behind the tractor very well doesn’t bounce about at all. The only downside I’ve found with it is it’s hard to properly clean the slurry trap, only has small access at each side but I would certainly buy the same again.

Do you mean JPM?
How much work will you do with it?
If a lot cheaper it’s got to be worth a look, I have a JPM bale trailer, I’m sure it’s not as good as some on the market but it is none the less a decent trailer that does the job at a lower price than some.
If in constant use you may be able to justify the very best, otherwise it’s a balancing act between quality and a price you can afford/justify.

Stewart will be a fully alloy box sat on a bale trailer will it not?
broughan will be steel frame sheeted with alloy and so will Jpm my gut would be Stewart for a long term investment or jpm for something that will do a job but rot will get into the frame from sh1t!

If I could get fully alloy box for extra 3k on a big trailer like that, I wouldnt think twice.
The alloy sheets will rot off the steel frame on the others in due course.
