Yes, the man is a songwriter, singer god. ”Summer of ‘69” was an anthem for me back in the day. He’s a pretty fine photographer too, but oh my Lord, what a load of drivel he came out with yesterday. Apparently going vegan will prevent the next pandemic! No I didn’t make it up!

Bloody Quorn adverts quoting "if you're worried about climate change, eat Quorn"

How the fudge does Quorn solve climate change?

In the same way that eating British meat solves climate change.

You know, as said in that advert being run by the AHDB.

Don't blame Quorn, they are only doing their job.

As someone has already mentioned in other postings, Quorn is made in large vats on an industrial site, about as far as you can get away from cattle grazing grass. I doubt wether any of the bodies representing Farmers would do a low level campaign to put the truth forward.

Isn't it worrying that just because someone is famous, some people will listen to what they say about something, even though they have absolutely no knowledge of the subject?

If I feel unwell, I consult a doctor (years of specialist training) If the dog is sick, I would take him to the vet (even more years of training) Car playing up, go to a qualified mechanic, etc etc.

Want to know about climate change? Ask a 15 year old kid.

Vegetarianism and infectious diseases-see what a guy who plays the guitar says.

5G and covid 19, well there's an ex TV presenter and a current TV presenter who can tell you what's what.

Architecture-ask an architect? No let's listen to what a Prince says.

I don't know why the Government have a SAGE advisory group, they should just see what Take That think we should do.

I should imagine this is just the start. Once the vegans all emerge from under their lockdown rocks - because let be honest there will be very few of them in employment let alone key workers, there will be an onslaught at the livestock industry about how Covid was all the fault of UK livestock farmers.

Then I can only hope the saying
Give them enough of rope and they’ll hang them selves cones into play.
The more ridiculous their assertions the less that will believe them.

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.

This webinar will be...
