Brazilian beef banned in China...... let me guess that we'll import thousands of tonnes without issue because it's cheap and we need cheap food.
Is it banned by the importers or exporters . ?we admitted we had it, scientist's scared the shite out of other countries, and banned our beef for years.
we were meant to have thousands and thousands of people die from BSE, it hasn't happened, very very few have actually died from it.
the original ban was justified, our scientists were predicting the end of the world.
pretty quickly it was realised things were not as bad, and other countries kept quiet, and used it as an excuse to limit the beef supply, by banning ours.
After all the hype, inaccuracies, and bans, which time has proved false
why should Brazilian beef be banned, other than for political reasons ?
Reading that made me think of covid.we admitted we had it, scientist's scared the shite out of other countries, and banned our beef for years.

Would be good for the domestic price of beef... so ban away in my opinion!we admitted we had it, scientist's scared the shite out of other countries, and banned our beef for years.

they are still trying to make out its awful and dreadful and we all need to wear masks... anything to keep the limelightReading that made me think of covid.
Which was my point. I doubt they will for two reasons. Firstly we've lived through bse and survived. Secondly, the last thing they want is for beef to be more expensive..... a sudden glut of cheapy brazilian beef is a gift.Would be good for the domestic price of beef... so ban away in my opinion!
Well im sure Mrs Coffee wont be on our side if her NFU performance was anything to go by...Which was my point. I doubt they will for two reasons. Firstly we've lived through bse and survived. To be fair I wouldnt be that happy eating BSE beef... forgive me for not entirely "trusting the science" after covid. Brazilian beef is already lower quality and welfare standards, so this just adds to that reallyBut are the general public going to be happy thinking that they might be eating BSE beef?
Could help our food security argument.

Oh don’t worry, some eco warrior journalist will claim that ALL beef is dangerous and will kill us all with BSE.But are the general public going to be happy thinking that they might be eating BSE beef?
