Bulk tank control box

I'm getting towards the point of getting my bulk tank in use. Unfortunately after doing the deal to buy it, the vendor had an 'electrician' disconnect the tank from the controller and compressor so I've no idea how it all fitted together. It's an old tank and controller so I'm think about replacing the control box with a new one. I'm also hoping that I can somehow have a time control on the compressor so that it works mainly on the cheap(er) rate electric. Does anyone have any recommendations as to a control that can do this?

We used to leave the tank on manual for the compressor and ice Bank and it was just wired through a time switch, same as an emersion heater. Just set the times to suit cheap rate power

Our old Desco does similar! It had a time controller fitted that has an overide on it . Still use the original box ,its bomb proof IMO
Leave it in Auto so the tank will switch off when fully iced . Then all you need to do is think how long it will need and set the switch points to suit !
In summer we often switch the timer to work regardless of the time set ,later in the evening ,so that it can add to the charge !
I have a timer controller off an old Desco on the shelf second hand if you wanted such a thing!! I can post it .
