We are mainly dairy but do run a small group of suckler cows of 20. After talking to a group of men at market the other who all seemed shocked that we only run a bull with them for 9 weeks, Bazadaise for 6 weeks, Angus for the last 3 weeks. It made me wonder was my ‘hobby’ herd been run out of sink to the norm. So want is everyone else’s bulling period in the suckler world?
