BUNNING RD spreader parts

Has anyone got Bunning parts elsewhere (away from the main dealers) or got parts lasercut?

I just got a pair of joining links; £25 each seems steep for all that it is.

I was thinking of getting bottom blades cut and folded, has anyone done it before and used what steel; hardox?

I need a few tips and 'angle irons' for the rotors and again I was thinking of drawing them on CAD to get lasercut, but I'm not sure what steel to go for or would they just be mild steel?

Thanks in advance

We cut the tips from a length of 40 x 15 bar. Punch the holes out with an Iron Worker, then guillotine at 45 degrees. 40 new tips cut out in 10 minute.
Never could cut the holes out with a lazer that was tidy
Have use this type of joiner and been very happy with it.

Thanks for this!

Was it just mild steel bar you used?

Sounds handy enough compared to forking out the dealer price.
