Business loans, 100% government backed,

Yes suppose I am criticising others, but reading this reminds me of a bunch of 5 year olds all rushing for the ice cream van. What I meant by can't lose is, they have more of a chance to ride it if it gets no better, (suppose I've got that wrong aswell) If you've none or very little money and the sh1t keeps coming (which it could well do) how are you going to repay it, because as far as I can see they'll clean you out if you don't pay it back, perhaps I'm wrong (I certainly hope I am) but I dont think we've seen anything yet, I think this is the honeymoon compared with what we've got to come. As for YOUR GRANT SCHEMES for the TRULY DESPERATE you live in cuckoo land, the truly desperate will get f...ck all.
Have you achieved anything in your life?

you have surely read the posts about this, on here, there's been 1200 of them, and no doubt, looked the bounce back loan on the net, from other posts, over the past months, you seem to be quite financially astute, so why all the questions ? Short of winning the lottery, its the cheapest loan you can get, with no specific aim.
ive not been paying attention as i thought it was just for the likes of the dairy guys with proof their income was slashed but now it seems everyone is claiming

this loan is for ALL businesses, not just farmers, my post is for all types.
the loan is there, for people, to decide whether to take, or not. Its very cheap and easy cash, but does have to be repaid. I very much doubt it was designed for just farmers ! We all run our businesses (farms) and should know the effect, of a cheap cash injection, would have, on our businesses, if we are close to folding, shouldn't take it, others, eg in the clothes trade, haven't sold their winter stock, and now need to get the summer stock in, no money from sales, loan ideal for that, but if you don't feel confident, don't take use it.
One thing that made me think, doing the application, is the large amount of money, that comes in, and goes out, the bit between, is definitely not big enough, but compared to other small businesses, its a very large sum !

if the government investigation finds that your losses werent 50k in these months due to covid are farmers not then at risk of having to repay that money on this spot? not easy if its spent by then

Let's hope there aren't many carpets whipped out from under applicants who cannot prove their business has been affected this early on. Prove, as in show evidence.

It's only my off-farm work that has stopped. I'm getting furlough for most of it, and I don't need a loan for it.
I'm not having to pour milk down drains, euthanase pigs or poultry, or plough under completely unsaleable crops.

Hmmmmm.

I can't see their being any checks while you keep making the repayments, once they start. It's a loan designed to get businesses trading again.

Quite obvious theres some that need it and a few slobbering at the thought that there is some money to be had the other side of those Self Built Moral Hurdles they have to clear... quite often the ones that know everything about everything types.

But this seem to have them baffled.

It's not rocket science , if you have been hit by Covid in any way shape or form you can claim for it...

There simply is no story to rehearse and reel off to some uninterested party about prices or the weather etc...
