The whole Cpc sh!t it a f**king disgrace . They should be encouraging people to work and be enterprising . where the government are concerned its us and them . A fight with the civil servants all the way .And its us that make money to pay tax to pay them and they try to stop us doing our job . funny thing is we are all on the same side . You wouldn't think it .

Look on the bright side, all the old wagon drivers haven't bothered, and it's pushed the cost of taking your Hgv at 21 up to £3,500, and that's if you pass your tests first time, fail a couple and you're talking £5000. So, for all of us that have a class 1 and CPC, we can earn much more, as there's a shortage of drivers, to the point (and this ain't no sh!t either) you can tell a firm to feck off in the morning and walk in to another Hgv job by dinner time for a good rate of pay. It's done me a favour, I never thought that my Hgv was worth anything till I started using it.

who needs this cpc training n why? its a bloomin mystry to me, i thought it was only for hgv drivers ?
Anybody who drives a Hgv vocationally, so if you take the cattle truck to move some sheep, then spend most of that day trimming feet, vocationally you are a farmer. Take the cattle lorry to Carlisle and back to buy a bull, that day you are a driver, so technically need a CPC.
