BvL feed wagon wear ring

Hi all, wondering if anyone has suggestions on this. We replaced the nylon wear ring that sits below the vertical mixing auger and its lasted no time at all. It gets plenty grease pumped in but seems to have melted the plastic. All the bits have went down next to bearing.

Whats best when putting on a new nylon wearing ring, absolutely clart it in grease? 5th wheel grease? Im guessing its the same as boom wear pads?
