BYDV in wheat

Is this BYDV?



Graham winter wheat put in after a 3yr ley. If not BYDV what could cause the yellowing leaves?

Just didnt look normal to me somehow for ripenning. Be 6 weeks off wheat harvest for up here at least.

My first thought was moisture stress, it has been dry but i didnt think it had been THAT dry. But i am no expert!

If BYDV there should be some red in it somewhere.

That's just the crop ripening.

I was only saying to one of my clients yesterday that I get so many calls at this time of the year saying their crops are going off, until I point out the time of the year they think there may be a problem, Harvest is close!!, But what a great farmer attitude if the crop is not looking good then ask questions!! I say well done for asking the question !
