Calf problem

Got a suckled calf about 260 kgs that I had the vet out to last week, he was swollen all round his face and down his throat and the vet thought it was probably caused by clostridium of some type and treated him accordingly but today you can hear him the minute you come into the yard, if he was a Texel ram you would say he had a bad case of Texel throat. Will get the vet back in the morning but has anyone had anything like this?.

Boggy.
Yes.
Can't remember what it was called we jabbed it with, maybe Dexadresson or something that sounds like it, a steroid. It needed 2 jabs, went on to make a full recovery, and 11 calves. (y) (It was a long time ago!)
