You have to do a test weight so go onto the scale setting on the screen to turn the test weight on then you cut a certain amount turn it off go and weigh it then put in the screen the weight you have measured and it works out the calibration factor. You have to do this for every different crop to be accurate. So when you load a different profile for crop settings it will put the calibration factor back to 1. I hope that makes sense. The tank need to be empty when you start the test weigh.

Do you have the test tube and weigh scales with the machine ?

No but I've ordered some.

Had a play about today and got a feel for it.
But

Is it meant to sample bushel weight itself, or does it rely on on me entering bushel weight manually?

If I enter a bushel weight, then do a test weigh using a weighbridge, does the test weigh then overwrite the bushel weight?

And which is the more accurate?

The bushel weight only alters when you enter a different number. It won’t alter when you put the test weight amount in.

You need to set the bushel weight first then do a test weight over a weighbridge, this will set the “calibration factor” for that bushel weight. Then in theory you just need to adjust your bushel weight to the crop conditions.
Don’t forget to save your crop settings though otherwise if you reload the Claas settings it will reset your calibration factor to 1

Yes it will alter the accuracy if you are a long way out with the bushel weight. It’ll never be perfect but within 5% either way I’d say.
