Can’t upload photos off android phone

Now I am not happy.
Has someone buggered about with some setting recently- like a “small upgrade”?
Seems I cannot upload photos off my android phone via “attach files” tab. Click on pic as did in passed but now nothing happens. Have to email myself and upload via computer or iPad

no settings have changed/ no updates etc done for several months now

i can’t test this as i don’t have any android devices

Well I’ve tried everything including using the lowest resolution setting on the camera but to no avail. Doesn’t even try to load the percentage upload bar
Boo.
@Chris F ... any ideas?
