Can a New Holland TL100A be used with Dash removed

The Dash Display on my New Holland TL100A needs the pixels fixed so it will be away for a bit of time.
Just wondering is it still possible to use tractor with out the dash display or perhaps it may not be a wise idea.
Any thoughts ?

Hours are counted through the module or ECU so they still add up anyway
