2 forecasts for today, both updated this morning, both for same postcode . BBC says dry day, Met office says wet. How is anybody meant to plan anything!

don’t think bbc use met office these days ?

there are lots of weather data suppliers now not just met office

Bbc now use the Meteo service from the french.

Funny enough I rate the meteo weather pro app as ok. Never look at the bbc weather app.

Currently think the YR app from the Norwegian weather service is ahead of them both.

And for short term forecast of 6 hours I use Will it Rain Today app that flags up rainfall and intensity pretty well.

I want to make some haylage but contractor is away till next Friday. I could cut now and try and get another contractor but I try to stay loyal.I wasn't too worried as initial forecasts said dry for 10 days. Was going to cut on Monday and bale on Friday. Then the forecast said showers next Friday, now they're saying showers mid week.

Thats the problem here, except i have my own kit but needed a part for the baler that has taken a week to get, the forecast early in the week said rain Thursday then going back warm for the following week. Its now looks very unsettled for the next 7 days, do i cut today to bale on Saturday which looks the only nice day?
