Well people ,society seem to think it is? is this just another sign of the declining "standards", morals etc? Not many years ago, times were alot harder/tougher, but people lived"within their means", an old saying, but true? So why bother, trying to do the "right" thing in both life and in business, when those who dont, either dont "fear" the consequences of their actions or dont just "care", if things dont start to change soon? either people will start taking the "law" into their own hands, and meeter out their own forms of "punishment" for crimes or actions commited, a very sad state of affairs?

Chris Packham is saying it's now ok to break the law because of the "climate crisis".

I still don't actually see a climate crisis, just changing weather to adapt to. Anyone know his carbon footprint? Bet it's in the top 2% of Britons
I don't know what his carbon footprint is but I know where his foot belongs

A few acres of Potatoes went missing during the Miners strike 1984-85, mostly taken by women.

One farmer I knew in Selby said 'would you try tackle a mob of angry women' the police were already busy enough on the picket lines to offer any help.

Big industry has been stealing off suppliers for decades , we all know the stories of the veg growers , asked to supply tons of veg only for it to be cancelled last min , ("but we will take it off your hands to save it spoiling for discounted price" ) ,just legalised theft .
Dont have a lot of sympathy im afraid .This country is in for a rough time in next decade , no police action or even threat of it , all this woke and entitled nonsense causes a lot of problems (peckham incident) .

Yes caught a chap in his 60's stealing wood we have logged up a few days ago. Up a private drive away from the road and he was there in his brand new discovery with a ifor williams trailer helping himself, saying he thought it was free. I blocked him in until he removed every piece. Very verbal until I told him he was on cctv then he shut up and did as he was told.

Isn't it funny how he was not so keen on theft and law breaking when a stolen vehicles was torched in his driveway.....

I have not seen the program in question but how close does the Pacman and Ch4 get to incitement? In my view the program name alone is bordering on incitement!

Would food banks be encouraging this, just a thought that occurred to me while reading your post. Folk just get used to going in and helping themselves for nothing.

The threat of consequences used to be enough of a deterrent for most, however now there doesn't seem to be any consequences. My brother manages a supermarket and they used to challenge shop lifters and call the police. Now the police aren't interested and don't show up. The staff have been told not to challenge shoplifters for fear of violence, so they point to the security cameras. The shoplifters just shrug their shoulders and walk out with stuff!!!! The cost of this then inflates the price of things that are being paid for, crazy world!!!!
