Need a hydraulic pipe for a 5150 but the dealer can’t get it any longer.

Anyone suggest where I could try?

My man in a van said he knew someone up north who advertised in Classic Tractor but couldn’t remember their name/details.

Never seen a pipe quite like it before - half of one, half of another. The crimp joint in the middle swivels which I don't think it is supposed to and so I think is the cause of weeping oil.

crimp is loose if it’s swivelling. Looks like two piece fittings. Cut the ferrules off and re use the fittings or cut the steel part and drill a blanking plug to fit over and braze it on to then take a flexi part

The last hose that i had leaking like that , the local hydraulic firm i use cut the steel end off and fitted a compression fitting. That was quite a few years ago and its still okay.

unless this is a critical pipe say for lift arms, i would in this case cut the crimps off and reuse the ends. if its something like a steering pipe the pressure in it will be alot lower anyway when compaired to a main hyd service. steering circuits often 120 to 160 bar where as main pressure 210 to 250bar or on alot of manitou's would be 270bar which soon weeds out the weak hoses!
